About Us
Core Elastomers has two parts to our business; Compounding of Custom Thermoplastic Vulcanizates and Brokering name brand materials. Thermoplastic Vulcanizates are a type of Themoplastic Elastomer that is crosslinked to enhance rubber-like properties and processes like a thermoplastic. See our Custom Products page for more information about our in-house services. We also have strong relationships throughout the industry and can source many brands of materials. Some of the materials we can source can be found on our Brokering page.
Our primary focus is customer satisfaction by providing the highest quality product and operational excellence as well as continuously improving our processes. We value our relationships with current and future customers and suppliers, and ensure product quality, personal service, and efficient delivery.
what is a tpv?
TPV is an acronym for thermoplastic vulcanizate. TPV is a TPE type material that is crosslinked to enhance rubber-like properties over a wider temperature range. They are characterized by finely dispersed crosslinked rubber particles distributed in a continuous thermoplastic matrix.
